Building your menu
Your menu is organized into categories that contain items. The same menu powers the POS terminal and the guest QR ordering page.
Categories
Open Dashboard → Menu and create categories that group your items, such as *Drinks*, *Appetizers*, *Mains*, and *Desserts*. Categories control the order in which items appear to staff and guests, so arrange them the way you want your menu to read.
Items
Within a category, add each item with:
- a name,
- a price entered in your branch currency, and
- (optionally) a description.
Prices are stored precisely in the smallest currency unit, so there is no rounding drift between what you type, what the POS shows, and what the guest sees.
How the menu is shared
The category-and-item layout is country-agnostic — the same design renders for Myanmar, Thailand, and Japan. What changes per country is only the currency formatting (symbol and decimal places) and the tax applied at checkout, not the menu structure itself.
Keeping it in sync
Any change you make here appears immediately in:
- the [POS terminal](/docs/pos), and
- the [guest QR ordering page](/docs/guest-ordering).
There is no separate publishing step.
