Guest QR ordering
Guests can browse your menu and place an order from their own phone by scanning a QR code at the table — no app to install.
How it works
1. Each table (or branch) has a guest link and QR code. 2. The guest scans the code and opens your menu in their browser. 3. They browse by category, add items, and place the order. 4. The order flows into the same system your staff use, with the same totals and tax engine as the POS.
Same menu, every country
The guest ordering page reuses the same category-and-item menu design across Myanmar, Thailand, and Japan. Prices are shown in the branch's currency with the correct decimal places, and the order total is calculated by the shared tax engine — so the guest sees exactly what the receipt will say.
Tax on guest orders
Guest orders currently use the branch's default tax category (dine-in).
> Note for Japan: because the guest page does not yet offer a dine-in / > takeout choice, guest orders are taxed at the dine-in rate (10%). Takeout > selection on the guest side is a planned enhancement. For takeout that must be > billed at 8%, complete the order on the [POS terminal](/docs/pos) and set the > order type there.
Setup
Generate and print the QR code for each table from the dashboard, then place it where guests can scan it. Test the flow yourself first by scanning one code and placing a sample order.
